Me llamo Abelardo. Soy casado y tengo tres hijos. He servido a Dios por más de 15 años en iglesias, hospitales, prisiones, etc. Me apasiona trabajar para Dios y ser parte junto con mi familia de Su obra aquí en la tierra. Además de ser pastor, Dios me ha permitido trabajar como psicólogo y consultor en empresas. Te invito a que te unas a esta nueva comunidad latina aquí en Florence.

Before coming to serve as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Ron had served as a Pastor in Southern Oregon for the last 7 years.  Ron still serves as a Church Planting Catalyst responsible for training and coaching Churches and Pastors how to start new churches and ministries in the Northwest.  Ron began his ministry planting churches in Campeche, Mexico in 1996 and has helped start churches in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, New York, Canada, Texas and Oregon.  Ron and his wife Jeanette are originally from Houston and grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast.  They have 8 children and 1 granddaughter, with 5 of their kids still living at home.  As a family they love fishing, boating, and exploring the beaches of the Oregon Coast.  Their mission in life is to bring hope and belonging thru the love of Jesus as they serve in their community. 

After accepting the Lord at the age of 14, he ran from Him for many years. Finally after serving as Deacon, Teacher, and Treasurer he accepted the call to ministry. Served 15 1/2 years as an associate Pastor within two churches. Moved from Virginia to Oregon in 2015. Danny was ordained here at First Baptist in September 2019 as the associate Pastor. Married to his wife, Christine, for 43 years. He is the father of two sons and has two beautiful granddaughters.
